The Standard. Not the Alternative.

Co-Founder of True North Ball Hockey. He serves as True North’s Vice President & League Manager and has been involved in competitive ball hockey since 2017. He began with the Valley Minor Ball Hockey Association, winning the league championship, representing Valley at provincials and capturing the U19 Western Challenge Cup in Edmonton, AB.

Moving to Senior, Liam managed his own team for seven seasons winning two league championships and an Interior Cup title in Penticton, BC. Managing teams and working closely with captains and players gives him a strong understanding of British Columbia’s men’s ball hockey landscape and reinforced the importance of clear communication, dependable scheduling, a positive player experience and a strong sense of community.

At True North, that background informs his work overseeing the league’s day-to-day operations and coordinating with teams, captains, officials, and league partners. His focus is on helping create a competitive, welcoming, and professionally run ball hockey environment while improving the standard of organization and player experience across the province.

As Director of Hockey Operations & Tournaments, the focus is on building a stronger competitive environment for ball hockey in British Columbia. The priority is creating consistent access to quality floor time, training, and meaningful competitive repetitions throughout the year. That structure is designed to better prepare BC athletes and teams for Provincial, National, and international competition while helping close the infrastructure gap that exists between British Columbia and other provincial ball hockey markets across Canada.

The approach is player-first and collaborative, working with organizations, teams, coaches, and athletes across all levels of the sport. The long-term objective is to strengthen BC’s competitive pathway, expand high-level opportunities, and help position the province for sustained success on the national and international stage.

Nick began playing ball hockey with Valley Minor Ball Hockey in 2013 and has since competed with several teams throughout the Lower Mainland.
