A professional background in project management provides extensive experience coordinating resources, stakeholders and logistics. As Tournament Director, he serves as TN’s primary tournament contact with the Township of Langley and oversees internal resource coordination and operational planning.
He is committed to delivering organized, professionally operated events designed for the highest levels of ball hockey. His long-term goal is to establish TN tournaments as premier events capable of attracting teams and players from around the world to Vancouver.

Referee in Chief
True North is seeking an experienced and respected Referee-in-Chief to lead its officiating program. This is a paid position.
True North is seeking an experienced and respected Referee-in-Chief to lead its officiating program. This is a paid position.
They will manage referee scheduling and assignments for 24 teams, 12 games each week, with most administrative work completed remotely. The successful candidate must attend a minimum of three games per week to observe officials, support game-day operations, and maintain consistent officiating standards.
Responsibilities include recruiting and developing officials, managing availability and assignments, communicating rule interpretations, reviewing incidents, and addressing officiating concerns alongside league management. Candidates must be comfortable using online scheduling software, website portals, email, and other digital communication tools.
Applicants must have at least five years of officiating experience. Previous selection to officiate major tournaments is preferred, along with demonstrated leadership, sound judgment, strong communication skills, and a thorough understanding of ball hockey rules.
This is an opportunity to build a professional officiating program and help establish True North’s standards from its inaugural season.
